LEVEL 13 by P.A.C.- GARDENS IN THESSALONIKI
The project corresponds quite enough to the idea of a game with the volume and the space. The initial unit was a cube with dimensions 4 * 4 * 4 meters (simple square), which itself could be proportionally the simplest building unit volume, one simple room. The volume is then multiplied, creating many of the same units. With the help of some intermediate binding particles, The volumes are combined together for every 3, 4, 5 or even 6 parts. In this way we have the creation of building units by the combination of the blocks and we have the first housing typologies. The houses that emerge could be of one or of two levels. The houses are then placed in levels that are 1.5 meters thick. Using a total of six levels the final assembly is created. The complex consists of 4 levels of 2 floors and another 2 levels of one floor, a central pillar and units of general use. The complex is multiplied in the area, and also some flat parts are added on the integrated complexes.
