January 2017: “Ariadne”, a performance mix of installation and movement, that took place in Central Saint Martins college, as part of “Work in Progress” exhibition for MA students. The performance was based on the myth of Ariadne, who, in Greek Mythology, was associated with mazes and labyrinths and helped Theseus overcome the Minotaur and find the way out of the Labyrinth. Ariadne, in Greek mythology, was the daughter of Minos, King of Crete. Her father put her in charge of the labyrinth where sacrifices were made as part of reparations to Poseidon or to Athena. Later, she helped Theseus overcome the Minotaur and save the potential sacrificial victims.
